The Queensland Government’s Back to school boost helps families with school-related expenses for all students in Prep to Year 6. In 2027, the annual credit will increase from $100 to $150 per student.
Families are encouraged to use their child’s remaining 2026 credit for end-of-year school-related expenses. This includes excursions and Year 6 graduation-related costs. Year 6 families should use their credit by the end of the year. Unused balances for continuing students will carry over to 2027.
