Gladstone South State School has an instrumental strings program, directed by our instrumental music specialist.
- There is an audition process, held annually for students in Years 2-5 for tuition the following school year.
- Families are required to pay for the cost or hire of the chosen instrument and any consumables required.
- Tuition is provided weekly, free of charge.
- Students are expected to practise at home for daily for 10-15 minutes.
Students have the opportunity to perform at the eisteddfod and a range of other events.
